Although the platform has implemented some responsible tourism initiatives, these have been insufficient to make a real impact, but in every challenge there is an opportunity. After analysing the results of the Design Sprint, we confirmed that the proposal is viable and has the potential to become a reality within the Airbnb ecosystem. With GreenStay, the platform can not only mitigate the effects of uncontrolled tourism, but also position itself as a benchmark in sustainable tourism.
