Why study the Programme in Cloud, Automation and Agile Fundamentals?

This technical and strategic training will empower you to lead cloud migration, master automation with PowerShell, and manage projects using Agile methodologies. You'll learn to integrate version control with Git and data governance to deliver scalable, efficient solutions aligned with business objectives.

    • Ability to work autonomously with tools: browser, VS Code (or similar), and terminal.
    • Basic concepts of computing (files, permissions, processes).

    • Basic scripting knowledge (even minimal) or an “automation-first” mindset (desire to
      automate repetitive tasks.
    • Interest or previous experience with Git and collaborative work (PRs/review).

  • Cloud Fundamentals
    • Understanding the evolution of traditional IT systems and their move towards the Cloud.
    • Explain IaaS / PaaS / SaaS and the shared responsibility model clearly, and apply it to
      Real decisions (what the provider manages vs. what you manage).
    • Connecting the technical with the business: cost, risk, scalability and operability as criteria
      de cision from day one.
  • Automation with PowerShell
    • Mastering PowerShell as an automation language: cmdlets, pipelines, objects, filtering,
      formats, modules.
    • Writing robust and maintainable scripts: functions with parameters, control structures
      if / for / for each / while.
    • Automating typical repetitive tasks in technical work (inventories, reporting, validations,
      scheduled tasks), reducing human error and increasing reliability.
    • Prepare scripts for later integration into DevOps pipelines (Automation-first mindset).
  • Git and collaborative work
    • Understanding Git as a team working tool: repos, meaningful commits, branches, merges
      and conflict resolution.
    • Implement a professional workflow: Pull Requests, review, naming conventions, and best practices
      to avoid “repo chaos”.
    • Traceability of work and delivery of value.
  • Agile and Technical Project Management
    • Operating a project with Scrum in practice: backlog, stories, estimation, DoR/DoD,
      planning and retrospective.
    • Understanding how to work with uncertainty: prioritisation by value, scope management, debt
      technique.
    • Translate technical work into manageable work: tasks, acceptance criteria, and definition of
      Finished.
  • Business vision and data governance
    • Understanding why data and government influence architecture (quality, access,
      compliance, traceability).
