How is it possible that those with so much potential often find themselves struggling on the road to success?

The answer to this question lies in the complex intersection between intellectual brilliance and the personal resources needed to succeed in a world driven by human relationships and collaboration. High ability individuals, with their focus on analytical thinking and cognitive depth, may experience difficulty navigating the complexities of social interactions and teamwork. It is in this context that our course "Integral Development for People with High Capacities". Designed with the aim of addressing the specific needs of this exceptional group, this course offers a unique opportunity to explore the problems faced by this group and to find different solutions that will lead to a significant improvement in the personal and professional performance of each of them.

Program aims
  1. Facilitating the development of cognitive and emotional skills for people with high abilities.
  2. Improve the ability to relate effectively in social and work environments.
  3. Foster leadership, collaboration and teamwork in high performance contexts.
  4. Explore key concepts of social psychology and intervention strategies for personal and professional development.
  5. To explore the role of technology and specialised training as a facilitator of personal and professional development in people with high abilities.

Session 1: Introduction
  • The issue of High Abilities in the work environment
  • High Abilities in the history of human transformation
  • Dynamics and learning to maximise the potential of High Capacities
Session 2: The Road
  • Why are we here? Exploration of common social challenges faced by individuals with high abilities.
  • Is there a common path for all people with high abilities?
  • What do we mean by intelligence?
Session 3: My way of understanding the world
  • Perception vs. reality: identifying barriers to social interaction and teamwork.
  • How does the group influence me? Analysis of the ways in which we make decisions.
  • My place in the world: am I the same person in all contexts?
  • Group dynamics and me.
Session 4: Descartes' error
  • Thought, emotion and behaviour (or why I am able to solve complex problems but struggle to maintain a relationship).
  • Experiencing the emotion.
  • Motivation and emotion.
Session 5: Triumph of the mediocre
  • Why are mediocre people so successful? Is it possible to be successful and not be mediocre? Analysis of different alternatives.
  • Intelligence and leadership.
  • Conflict management and negotiation.
  • My empathy, that great unknown.
Session 6: My chance
  • Learning to know myself.
  • Stress and anxiety management techniques.
  • Implementation of the strategies learnt in different contexts.
Session 7: Work Environment and High Abilities
  • Work environments with high demand for people with High Abilities.
  • Complex Problem Solving as a job opportunity.
  • Technology training as a tool for creating opportunities.
  • Mechanics and techniques to reinforce the learning of this course and its applicability in the real world.
