Introduction to UX/UI. Design Sprint

In this first module we will learn about the phases of the design process and the main methodologies used to provide user-centred solutions. We will tackle our first real project using Design Sprint, the Google Ventures method for validating new business ideas.

We will learn the usual techniques for extracting information, empathising and getting to know the needs and perceptions of users. We will see how to synthesise and interpret the results to enrich the conceptualisation of our projects and we will be able to apply value proposals and innovative business models.

UI Designer
Interaction Design and Information Architecture

In this module we will approach the process from the point of view of interactivity with the aim of optimising the relationship between the user and our digital product or service. Through information architecture and the design of the content strategy, we will finally shape our projects by creating intuitive, user-friendly and easy-to-use products.

Visual Interface Design (UI). Prototyping.

In this module we will delve into the design and high fidelity prototyping of our digital product. We will work with the 2 most used tools in the sector, Figma and Sketch, and we will learn to design design systems with the Atomic Design approach, compositing and tokenising all our patterns and visual elements as companies such as IBM, Spotify or Liferay do.

Implementation and User Testing

In this module we will see fundamental concepts of the development world (languages such as HTML and CSS, servers, CMS, etc.) and we will learn how to design web projects with code. We will also delve into user testing and its different implications in digital product design.

Design Systems Specialist
Design System

This intensive course immerses you in the world of Design Systems, with a strategic approach to designing and maintaining user interfaces in a consistent and scalable way. You will learn how to create, implement and manage a design system that serves as a single source of truth for designers and developers. The course covers everything from component and pattern creation to documentation and system governance.

Digital accessibility

This comprehensive course will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to design accessible digital products and improve the user experience for people with diverse abilities. Based on WCAG 2.2 standards, the course will cover key accessibility principles and techniques for creating inclusive interfaces on websites and mobile apps. In addition, you will learn how to implement, test and maintain accessible solutions, contributing to inclusion and compliance in digital businesses and projects.

Behavioral Design

This intensive course immerses you in behavioural design, where you will learn how to apply behavioural science to influence users' decisions and actions ethically and effectively. You will explore cognitive biases, persuasion techniques and methodologies that will help improve user experience and achieve business goals. Upon completion, you will be able to identify behavioural patterns and design digital products that positively impact user behaviour.

The Master in UX/UI Design & Accessibility covers all important aspects of user interface (UI), user experience (UX), as well as web design strategy/architecture, prototyping and implementation.

Prerequisites

You don't need any previous knowledge or experience to access the UX/UI Design Master's Degree. The programme is demanding, so it is essential that you are eager to learn, motivated and have the ability to work.
