Study plan

Bootcamp UX UI Design, a programme has been designed to give you 100% practical training. Tools such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe XD will become your greatest allies (and those of your CV, that is). During the bootcamp you will complete a journey through the fundamental aspects of UX; from the design process to its implementation in web/app development.

Introduction to UX/UI. Design Sprint

In this first module we will learn about the phases of the design process and the main methodologies used to provide user-centred solutions. We will tackle our first real project using Design Sprint, the Google Ventures method for validating new business ideas.

  1. The design process (rationale and context)
  2. Agile Methodologies (Design Sprint, Design Thinking, Lean UX and Agile)
Research. Research Techniques

We will learn the usual techniques for extracting information, empathising and understanding the needs and perceptions of users. We will see how to synthesise and interpret the results to enrich the conceptualisation of our projects and we will be able to apply value proposals and innovative business models.

  1. Research: design research
  2. Qualitative and quantitative techniques
  3. Synthesis and analysis of results
  4. Discovery of insights
  5. Value proposition and business model
Interaction Design and Information Architecture

In this module we will approach the process from the point of view of interactivity with the aim of optimising the relationship between the user and our digital product or service. Through information architecture and the design of the content strategy, we will finally shape our projects by creating intuitive, user-friendly and easy-to-use products.

  1. Interaction design principle
  2. Architecture: navigation and search
  3. Site Maps and Flowcharts
  4. Content strategy. UX writing
  5. Wireframes
Visual Interface Design (UI). Prototyping.

In this module we will delve into the design and high fidelity prototyping of our digital product. We will work with the 2 most used tools in the sector, Figma and Sketch, and we will learn to design design systems with the Atomic Design approach, compositing and tokenising all our patterns and visual elements as companies such as IBM, Spotify or Liferay do.

  1. Principles of design (colour, typography, composition, etc.)
  2. Composition systems (grids)
  3. UI design tools: Figma and Sketch.
  4. Web/app patterns and components
  5. Atomic Design: Design systems
  6. Interactive prototyping
Implementation and User Testing

In this module we will see fundamental concepts of the development world (languages such as HTML and CSS, servers, CMS, etc.) and we will learn how to design web projects with code. We will also delve into user testing and its different implications in digital product design.

  1. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  2. User test
Certification

An asynchronous module in which time will be provided to prepare for and take the certification exams included in the program. IMMUNE, in this case, acts as a facilitator in connecting the certifying entity and the student, easing the process but without having authority over the exam or the grades obtained by the students.

Capstone Project

The Capstone is the final project of the bootcamp. It consists of posing a design challenge and approaching it from the perspective of user experience design. Applying the knowledge learnt during the course, you will have to conceptualise and develop a complete digital service or product that you will also have to present to a committee of experts.

  1. Definition of the idea with the assigned tutor
  2. Selection of work objectives
  3. Putting forward methodology and tools
  4. Presentation to panel of experts and peers
Capstone Project Presentation

Presentation of the final project before a panel of experts.

*The academic program may be subject to changes in line with the changing demand for specific skills in the market. Your employability is our goal.
