Why study the Expert Programme in AI Full Stack Development?
The workflow is the one already used by leading teams: specify, plan, tasks, implement. You write the specification, agents implement against it, and every pull request is traceable to a requirement. From the SDD module onwards, all programme challenges are delivered this way, as is the Master’s Final Project.
You will not work with demos or local notebooks. Each module concludes with a functional deliverable, and the Master’s Final Project is an AI application deployed on Azure, with a public URL, a CI/CD pipeline, quality metrics and inference cost analysis.
This Master’s programme also prepares you to:
- Prepare for three official certifications (GitHub GH-300, Azure AI-102 and Claude CCA-F), with mock exams included in the programme.
- Build a verifiable public portfolio: several projects on GitHub with version-controlled specifications and a product deployed to production.
- Progress from developer roles into positions such as AI-augmented full-stack developer, agentic AI engineer or tech lead for AI-assisted teams.
Prerequisites
The Master’s programme is designed for experienced developers who want to integrate AI into the way they work and build products with it. It is suitable for backend and full-stack developers, cloud professionals looking to add AI to their skill set, and professionals transitioning into a new role who already have a solid programming foundation. No prior experience with AI frameworks, Azure or LangChain is required.
Mandatory Requirements
- Intermediate JavaScript or TypeScript: asynchronous functions (async/await), Promises, ES6 modules and error handling.
- Basic to intermediate Python: reading and writing scripts, using pip, virtual environments and third-party libraries.
- Web development: understanding REST APIs, HTTP and JSON, and making requests from the frontend (using fetch or Axios).
- Git and GitHub: cloning repositories, committing changes, pushing code, creating pull requests and basic branching, with an active account.
- Having built at least one complete software project, even if it is a simple deployed CRUD application.
- IMMUNE’s Asynchronous Python course certification or proof of equivalent knowledge, submitted before the programme begins.
Recommended Requirements:
- Experience with a modern web framework: Next.js, React, Vue or similar.
- Basic database knowledge: SQL queries and experience using an ORM (Prisma, SQLAlchemy or similar).
- Experience using a cloud provider (Azure, AWS or GCP) at user level, and familiarity with Docker.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or another AI assistant in projects.
What will you learn?
- Work with the Spec-Driven Development workflow (specify, plan, tasks, implement) and guide agents that implement against a version-controlled specification.
- Integrate LLMs into full-stack applications using Next.js and FastAPI: streaming, tool use and authentication.
- Build RAG systems and design the data layer using vector databases (pgvector, Azure AI Search, Pinecone).
- Design agents using LangGraph, Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Azure AI Agent Service.
- Deploy and operate AI applications on Azure: Docker, AKS, LLMOps and inference cost optimisation.
- Apply Responsible AI principles and the European regulatory framework (EU AI Act, OWASP LLM Top 10).
- Prepare for the GitHub Copilot GH-300, Azure AI-102 and Claude CCA-F certifications.

Certification training
The Master’s programme covers the syllabus for three recognised certifications and integrates them into the learning experience from day one, with mock exams in the final weeks:


- GitHub Copilot (GH-300): professional use of Copilot throughout the full development lifecycle (Chat, CLI, Agent Mode), testing, Responsible AI and governance.
- Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102): designing and implementing AI solutions on Azure, including Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, agents and cloud security.
- Anthropic Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCA-F): architecture of agentic systems with Claude, including agentic loops, tool design, MCP and context management.
Preparation is integrated into the programme, with mock exams for all three certifications. Registration for the official exams is managed separately; the admissions team will provide you with the relevant details. Passing the exams is not guaranteed, but the programme content and practical work are aligned with each certification.
Why study the Expert Programme in AI Full Stack Development?
The programme is organised into eleven modules grouped into six blocks and a Capstone project, delivered over 14 weeks and 240 hours of classes, study and labs (72 synchronous hours / 240 total hours / 10 ECTS). Each block begins with a challenge that, on day one, you do not yet know how to solve.
Assessment: 20% weekly development sprints + 25% module challenges + 10% peer code review + 15% mock exams for the three certifications + 30% Master’s Final Project.

Module 1 – 1 ECTS
AI Fundamentals for Developers
Applied machine learning, transformer architecture, embeddings and vector search, and basic RAG. Model integration via APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI) and an introduction to Azure AI services.
Module 2 – 1,5 ECTS
Agentic Development and Spec-Driven Development
The core of the programme. GitHub Spec Kit and the specify, plan, tasks, implement workflow. In-depth use of GitHub Copilot (Chat, CLI, Agent Mode) and Claude Code (CLAUDE.md, plan mode, hooks, skills, subagents and MCP). Applications built with Next.js and FastAPI, driven by specifications, with CI/CD using specification validation as a gate.
Module 3 – 1,5 ECTS
Databases and Data for AI
Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant) and PostgreSQL with pgvector. Azure AI Search and Cosmos DB as managed services, chunking strategies, and ETL pipelines with Prefect and Airflow.
Module 4 – 1,75 ECTS
AI Agents and Orchestration
Agent patterns (ReAct, plan-execute, reflection), LangGraph for state graphs and Model Context Protocol, including the development of custom MCP servers. Multi-agent systems, memory management, Azure AI Agent Service, and reliability and cost evaluation.
Module 5 – 1,75 ECTS
Cloud, MLOps and Production
Deploying AI applications on Azure: Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service and Container Apps. Monitoring LLMs in production with Langfuse and Azure Monitor, inference cost optimisation, and SRE practices applied to AI systems.
Module 6 – 0,5 ECTS
AI Security, Ethics and Regulation
EU AI Act and the European regulatory framework, Responsible AI in Azure, GitHub Copilot Enterprise governance and the OWASP LLM Top 10. Governance and traceability of models in production.
Capstone – 2 ECTS
Full-Stack AI Application in Production
Working in teams of two or three, with an instructor acting as Product Owner, you will define, build and deploy an AI-powered software product on Azure, with AI as a core capability. The project integrates at least four modules from the programme, maintains traceability from the specification through to the pull request, and is presented and defended before an assessment panel with a live demo.

FAQs about the Expert Programme in AI Full Stack Development
What qualification will I receive upon completion?
Upon completing the programme, you will receive the IMMUNE Technology Institute Master’s in AI Full Stack Development, a proprietary, non-regulated qualification recognised within the tech industry, as well as the Master’s digital badge.
Do I need prior experience in Artificial Intelligence?
Not with AI frameworks, Azure or LangChain. You do need a solid development foundation: intermediate JavaScript or TypeScript and Python, web development and Git, as well as experience building at least one complete project. From there, the programme takes you all the way to a production-ready product.
Why Azure rather than AWS or GCP?
Azure is the leading cloud platform in Europe and the most in-demand for enterprise AI projects in Spain and Latin America. The RAG, agent and LLMOps concepts covered in the programme are transferable to other cloud platforms, so the learning broadens your profile without making your existing AWS or GCP knowledge obsolete.
What is Spec-Driven Development?
It is the programme’s working methodology: the version-controlled specification is the single source of truth, and agents implement the code against it using the specify, plan, tasks, implement workflow. You define the specifications, audit and make decisions; the agents implement, and every pull request is traceable to a requirement.
Are all three certifications included?
The programme prepares you for all three certifications (GH-300, AI-102 and CCA-F), covers their syllabuses and includes mock exams. Registration for the official exams is managed separately; the admissions team will provide you with the relevant details. Passing the exams is not guaranteed.
Is it 100% online?
Yes. Classes are delivered live with the group and are recorded. Lab work and assignments are completed independently.
What is the Capstone Project?
It is the final project: a full-stack AI application deployed on Azure, with a public URL, a CI/CD pipeline, quality metrics and cost analysis. It is developed as a team using a spec-driven workflow and defended before an assessment panel. It forms part of the portfolio you can showcase in interviews.
Is it compatible with a full-time job?
Yes. The format consists of two live three-hour sessions per week over 14 weeks, plus independent work that you can organise at your own pace. The Master’s Final Project is concentrated in the final weeks.
