The STEM area in Spain has experienced significant growth, consolidating itself as a key pillar both in terms of employability and the country's economic development.

Looking ahead, it is estimated that the industry will require more than 90,000 data and artificial intelligence experts in the next three years, underscoring the constant need for professionals specialized in emerging technologies.

According to recent data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE), in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector, the number of employed people has experienced 3% growth, reaching 564,137 people. This places Spain as one of the countries in the European Union with the highest rate of STEM specialists (82%) with post-secondary studies.

But how do technological profiles develop their professional careers? IMMUNE Technology Institute and Randstad Digital have prepared this study with the responses of more than 1,300 professionals from the areas of specialization most in demand by companies: cybersecurity, cloud computing, data science, artificial intelligence, and web development and programming.

The Pro Talent Tech 2024 Report studies the different variables that are influencing the employability of the STEM sector in Spain, taking into account issues such as gender differences, ages, training, and employment situation.
