The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship and IMMUNE sign an agreement to promote technological training in Costa Rica.

  • The agreement, signed on 22 April at the Costa Rican Embassy in Spain, represents a significant step in the strengthening of cooperation ties between educational institutions in Spain and the Republic of Costa Rica in the field of technology.
  • With this agreement, IMMUNE Technology Institute promotes a scholarship programme which will cover part of the cost of the training courses provided.

Madrid, 22 April 2024 - In an effort to strengthen technological capabilities and promote international co-operation in education and technology, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of the Republic of Costa Rica has signed an agreement with the hub of technological training IMMUNE Technology Institute to promote the international cooperation and technological training of Costa Rican citizensThe programme provides access to scholarships for study in areas of interest to Costa Rica. 

This agreement, signed on 22 April at the Costa Rican Embassy in Spain by both entities, represents a significant step in the strengthening of cooperation ties between Spain and Costa Rica in the technological field.and reinforces IMMUNE Technology Institute's commitment to international training and technological development.

In the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Dr. Arnoldo André TinocoThe Ministry, through the scholarship office of the Directorate of International Cooperation, is committed to democratising access to information on scholarships and managing new study opportunities, ensuring that the greatest number of Costa Ricans have access to quality education in the best institutions in the world, in educational areas that are a priority for the country's development".

For its part, Juan Riva, CEO and Founder of IMMUNE Technology Institute stated that: "At IMMUNE Technology Institute we strongly believe in the power of education to fostering the progress and development of society. This collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of the Republic of Costa Rica allows us to bring our experience and knowledge to all citizens, providing the opportunity for training in areas of high demand in today's labour market". 

Technological training plan in Costa Rica

In particular, the agreement provides for the creation of a scholarship programmewith a specific number of places per academic programme, which will be granted by IMMUNE Technology Institute, which will cover up to 65% of training cost.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to train with leading teachers in the sector within the areas of Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, App Development and Web Programming and Data Science & Business Analytics.
