Tegere: Cybersecurity centred on human nature

Cybercriminals not only rely on technology to carry out their attacks and gain both information and unauthorised access, but they also rely on human nature. Social engineering is one of their greatest assets, allowing them to deceive and manipulate victims without much effort.

Tegere focuses on the human factor in technology, a critical element in the functioning of the cybersecurity machine. Hoaxes are becoming increasingly sophisticated and credible, so they need to be planted sooner rather than later.

What is the motivation?

The social engineering it has advanced by leaps and bounds, mostly leaving behind the era of poorly written emails and moving on to much more credible requests and scams.

Between 15% and 20% in the cybersecurity market It is based on social engineering and its deceptions, so Tegere focuses on this segment, ensuring superior protection and its model is adaptable to all types of clients, from individuals to large companies.

Program aims

  • Prevent unauthorised access to systems leading to theft of credentials or data.
  • Alerting of social engineering attempts, extracting digital evidence and optimising responses.
  • Protect different types of clients, adapting to the specific needs of each one.

Development

The process for solving these problems includes:

  • Development of a cloud infrastructure with an AI engine and a basic alert system, tested by different collaborating companies.
  • Optimisation of the product after initial testing, improving the detection engine and extracting digital evidence. Regulatory compliance is also sought at this point.
  • Expansion of functionalities through the advanced development of a user interface with a customisable dashboard according to needs.
  • Optimisation of responses and load testing prior to public deployment.
  • Notification to INCIBE in order to continue the fight against cybercrime.

Results

Tegere provides coverage for all aspects related to social engineering, offering a flexible and customisable system for each specific case. Its Scalable and adaptable model ensures that each client has everything they need and can focus on their own products and services.

The human factor remains key within technology, making services like Tegere indispensable on the front line of defence.
