In a context where wildfires and climate emergencies are increasingly frequent, the loss of material possessions and personal memories has become a silent tragedy for thousands of families. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only in the summer of 2025, more than 343,000 hectares burned in Spain and 27,000 people were evacuated from their homes. This scenario reveals the urgency of developing domestic solutions that combine safety, design, and functionality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is the motivation behind the project? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kura is born from a commitment to offer an accessible and aesthetic alternative for protecting what truly matters. Its purpose is to provide peace of mind in emergency situations, uniting innovation, sustainability, and industrial design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Validate interest<\/strong>capture early adopters interested in the furniture. <\/li>\n\n\n\n

    A modular system <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The development of Kura was based on a Lean Design methodology, prioritising functionality, responsible use of resources, and continuous validation through prototypes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Kura proposes a modular system as a flexible concept that evolves with space, needs, and time: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Wooden exterior<\/strong>Catchfyre Treatment, biodegradable retardant. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Calcium silicate cladding<\/strong>First thermal barrier, resistant up to 1100\u00baC. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Rock wool cladding<\/strong>Additional thermal insulation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Stainless steel cladding<\/strong>Coated with intumescent foam in joints, which seals and blocks heat and smoke. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
