Over the years, knowing how to code, or at least understanding the basics of computer programming, has become an essential skill for job seekers. Even jobs that are outside the realm of IT favour applicants with programming knowledge simply for the skills that programming helps them to develop.<\/p>\n

Scratch is a visual programming language and online community where children can create their own interactive stories, games, and animations by dragging and dropping code blocks.<\/h2>\n

Block-based programming emerged as the best solution to the previous problem. The idea is to create code in a visual (simple) and traditional text-based coding (powerful) manner. All the developer has to do is connect visual \u00abbuilding blocks\u00bb in a logical way.<\/p>\n

This approach became predominant for introducing children to programming and is now used all over the world.<\/p>\n
