To be more precise, C was born in 1978 with the publication of \"The C Programming Language\", popularly known as \"The C Bible\" and written by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie. This language was closely linked to UNIX, as it was used to define the operating system, the compiler and the programs that ran on UNIX. Ultimately, C was designed with the aim of giving the programmer control over his programs, allowing low-level programming.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How is C different from other \"C\" languages?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">In addition to C, we can find <a href=\"https:\/\/es.quora.com\/Cu%C3%A1l-es-la-diferencia-entre-C-C++-y-C\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">other languages<\/a> which share the root of the name and some characteristics. However, in order to get the most out of this language, it is necessary to have a certain degree of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.universidadviu.es\/deberias-aprender-programacion-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> experience and discipline<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Where is C still used?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Although it is no longer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universidadviu.es\/deberias-aprender-programacion-c\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">so popular<\/a> As in the 1970s, many projects still start today with C programming, even though it is a high-level language. For example, the kernel of Microsoft Windows, Mac and Linux, as well as iOS, Android and Windows Phone, are all written in C.
