Today, in the ecosystem of the Web3<\/strong>we constantly hear the term cryptoeconomics<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>and while it seems that its name perfectly explains what it is (the economy of a cryptocurrency duhh), here I bring you a detailed explanation of all that this term encompasses: the cryptoeconomy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is cryptoeconomics?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cryptoeconomics is a field that combines economics, cryptography and computer science to study the design and implementation of secure and efficient protocols for decentralised systems.<\/strong>. This field emerged with the advent of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, and has since expanded to cover a wide range of decentralised applications, including cryptocurrency-based platforms. Blockchain <\/a>for digital identity, supply chain management and decentralised finance (DeFi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the objectives of crypto-economics?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
